No winter without snow.

While many alpine ski resorts can only hope for enough snow to fall and make a good winter season, we, on the roof of Tyrol, can rely on heaps of snow every year. Our excellent location ensures the best conditions for a great winter holiday in the Pitztal, be it on the slopes, on the sledge run, or out in the woods. Brilliant white snow promises not only sporty action with ideal conditions for skiing, winter hiking, cross-country skiing and ski touring, but also romantic and cosy atmosphere and many other highlights. One such highlight would be a fun ride on the piste basher. What is more: your winter holiday starts right on the doorstep of the Stalderhütte at the heart of the Hochzeiger ski resort. Over 54 kilometres of perfectly prepared pistes, six kilometres of sledge slopes that are floodlit for all night owls, and the most beautiful winter hiking trails are to be found just around the corner of your winter accommodation in the Pitztal. This also includes our new winter hiking route, starting at the mid-way station and leading through the pine woods towards the Zollberg.
