Several flying fields and generous landing areas provide an extraordinary flight experience without any wait times. This airspace guarantees an excellent view throughout, because up here, there is enough space to fly your aircraft. Make your turns in the air and have your glider or jet explore the Alps from above. Show off your skills with daring tricks. The best thermal conditions are given from mid-May to the end of September. The slope of the flying field at the Hochzeiger Haus has an inclination of between 20 and 30 degrees. In view of the strong west winds, we suggest you fly from the south to the west to the north. To ensure that your plane does not run out of power, plenty of power points and charging stations are provided at the Hochzeiger Haus. No matter whether you are a hobbyist or professional, model flying in the Pitztal is an uplifting experience for all. Our recommendation: fly around the Sechszeiger at an altitude of over 2,400 metres above sea level.
